Los integrantes del Curso de Oficiales del Cuerpo Administrativo que egresará en las próximas semanas de la Escuela Militar de Cadetes ‘José María Córdova’, fueron homenajeados en la Sede Principal del Club Militar por los directivos de la entidad, en cabeza de su director, vicealmirante (RA) Héctor Alfonso Medina Torres. Como ya es tradicional con los cursos de oficiales de las Fuerzas Militares y de Policía que egresan cada año de sus respectivas escuelas de formación, los visitantes conocieron las instalaciones de la Sede Principal del Club y asistieron a una charla informativa sobre el funcionamiento de la entidad y los servicios que presta en materia de bienestar social, cultural y recreativo. En la exposición participaron, además del almirante Medina, la subdirectora del Club, coronel Claudia Rocío Ramírez, en su calidad de gerente encargada de la Sede Principal; el jefe de la Oficina Misional de Socios, teniente coronel (RA) Jorge Calderón; y los gerentes de la Sede de Sochagota, teniente coronel (RA), Luz Marina Ávila, y de Las Mercedes (e), capitán de Infantería de Marina, Edwin Barrios. Durante su intervención el señor Director del Club dio la bienvenida a los próximos oficiales del Ejército colombiano, e hizo énfasis en la tradición, el honor y la importancia que significan pertenecer al Club Militar, entidad que con 64 años de historia se erige como la única que reúne a los oficiales de las Fuerzas Militares y de Policía, y a sus familias. Igualmente, el almirante Medina hizo énfasis en la Actitud, Perseverancia y Pasión con las que los hombres y mujeres que forman parte del equipo humano del Club, trabajan día a día para prestar un mejor servicio a los socios y sus familias, y para hacer del mismo la mejor entidad del Grupo Social y Empresarial de la Defensa (GSED). Luego de la conferencia los alumnos del Curso de Oficiales Administrativos fueron invitados al Comedor Principal en donde se les ofreció un desayuno en su honor.
