Luis Alfonso Vivas, presidente del Comité de Tenis del Club Militar se coronó doble campeón en sencillos y dobles, categoría mayores de 50 años, en el torneo Grado 4 de Panamá que se disputó entre el lunes y el sábado pasados en la capital de esa nación centroamericana. En el torneo, correspondiente al circuito de la Federación Internacional de Tenis, participaron jugadores de diferentes Federaciones de la región, razón por la cual el triunfo de nuestro socio cobra mayor importancia. En la modalidad de sencillos Vivas ganó sus tres partidos de fase de round robin, inicialmente ante el puertorriqueño Andre Brady por 4-6, 6-2 y 6-4; luego ante el panameño Ricardo Paredes por walkover (no se presentó) y, finalmente frente al costarricense Antonio Blanco por 6-1, 3-6 y 6-3. En dobles, el presidente de nuestro Comité de Tenis hizo pareja con Antonio Blanco, obteniendo el triunfo en los dos partidos que les correspondieron en la fase de round robin. El Club Militar felicita al campeón.
